CLUB GOES STRAIGHT
May 2008
It wasn't long ago when we reported Sunderland
was to get its 1st 100% Gay Owned and Gay Operated bar/club, it was
Jan 08 in fact but it has now been reported that Retox is to hang up
its rainbow flag and become a straight bar offering a gay night once
a week citing lack of demand for the move.
There has been a lot of bad press surrounding the
move, mostly due to a banner they displayed which was deemed
offensive by locals... |

June 2008 has seen a complete overhaul of not only the look
and feel of our website, but the introduction of 3 brand new
sections: Gay Events, Gay Lifestyle, and Gay Resources as well
as the re-branding of our Interactive section to Get Connected
where you can find our improved chat services, online games, and
music videos.
